  Hi, I am Peter Mans, owner and Dealer Principal of Subaru of Claremont.  I am a NH native brought up and schooled in Lebanon.   After graduation, I enlisted in the US Army in 1971 and served 14 plus years leaving the Army (Sergeant First Class) for the automobile business in 1986. I began work in this Dealership for the former owner.  I purchased the business in 1992 and our family has been building it ever since.  While in the Army, I attended college and obtained a degree from the University of Maryland in Business Administration.  Since starting this business, I've done every job in our store: cleaning and reconditioning used cars, minor auto mechanical, Parts Counterperson, Service Advisor, Clerical Office Worker, Salesperson and Sales Manager, Used Car Manager, and Executive Manager ( and occasionally swept the floor and made coffee!) 
  
  We are a hands on, family owned and managed business. My Son Peter (Jr) joined me full-time after graduation from Whittemore School of Business (UNH) and the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Dealer Academy and is currently my General Manager. Like me, he has done every job in the Dealership.
  
  One of us is available nearly every hour we are open for business and welcome your questions and comment.

  Hello, I'm Pete Jr., General Manager at Subaru of Claremont. I've worked at the dealership since 1996 and full time since 2003. I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter. We have a wonderful St. Bernard named Fizzle. In my free time I enjoy woodworking, target shooting, and yard work. Yes, I said yard work.

  Hi, I am the Finance Manager here at Subaru of Claremont. I originally moved from Philadelphia, PA and started here shortly after and have been here ever since.  I was a sales consultant for 4 years and then started in the finance department.   Hi I have been at Subaru of Claremont for almost 7 years now. I started as a sales consultant and now I am the Business Development Manager, and I fill in for Tom a little bit in finance when needed. I really enjoy working with our great staff and customers! On my time off I mostly enjoy spending time with my dogs Harper my golden retriever and Pepper my rescue mix, we go hiking as much as possible! I also try to play some golf and go for a ride on my motorcycle. And last but certainly not least being with friends and family!

  Hey there!!  My name is Jim Swenson, and I am in my eleventh year here at Subaru of Claremont as the Parts Dept. Manager.  I am a graduate of The NH Technical College in Nashua with a degree in Automotive Technology.  Outside of the dealership, I serve as the current Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 316 in Newport and have done so for the past 15 years.  I also love coaching baseball for my four sons, and have done so since 1996, and currently still do, for the Newport Cal Ripken Blue Jays.  I love to camp, go to concerts, and attend sporting events.  All with my boys of course!!

I personally enjoy and take pride keeping my car clean, so I like bringing out the customer cars and seeing the customers happy smiling faces.
